- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- Chopped chives or green onions (for garnish)
- Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat dry salmon cubes and toss with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and 1 tbsp olive oil.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon cubes for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Add honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
- Return salmon to skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, and cook for 1-2 minutes until caramelized.
- Garnish with chives and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
