- 1 package Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup pastel M&Ms (or any seasonal M&Ms)
Optional Frosting:
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon holiday sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan or cast iron skillet.
- In a large bowl, mix the sugar cookie mix, softened butter, and egg until combined. Fold in M&Ms.
- Press the dough evenly into the greased pan. Add extra M&Ms on top for decoration.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set. Let it cool completely before frosting.
- For frosting (optional), beat butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pipe onto the edges of the cookie cake and top with sprinkles.
- Slice and enjoy!
