Description

This Sweet and Spicy Honey Pepper Chicken features tender chicken coated in a sticky, caramelized honey-pepper glaze. The perfect balance of sweet and heat, this dish pairs beautifully with creamy mac and cheese, rice, or roasted vegetables. It’s an easy and satisfying meal for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • For the Chicken: Chicken breasts, olive oil, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, cornstarch
  • For the Mac & Cheese (Optional): Macaroni, butter, flour, milk, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, black pepper

Instructions

  • Cook chicken in olive oil until golden brown.
  • Prepare the honey pepper sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and spices in the same pan.
  • Thicken the sauce with cornstarch and toss the chicken back in to coat.
  • (Optional) Make mac and cheese by cooking pasta, preparing a roux with butter and flour, then adding milk and cheese for a creamy sauce.
  • Serve the chicken over mac and cheese, rice, or veggies. Enjoy!
