Description

  • This easy toasted ravioli recipe delivers crispy, golden-brown bites filled with cheesy goodness. Perfect as a party appetizer or a fun snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) or cooking spray (for baking/air frying)
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  • In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each ravioli in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Freeze for 30 minutes (optional but recommended for crispiness).
  • For frying: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry for 3–4 minutes until golden.
  • For baking: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C), spray ravioli with cooking spray, and bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • For air frying: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve hot with marinara sauce.

Notes

  • Freezing helps the coating stick better and prevents sogginess.
  • Double-coating with breadcrumbs makes them extra crispy.
  • Use panko breadcrumbs for a crunchier texture.
