- 1 lb. frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh oregano, chopped
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil (for frying) or cooking spray (for baking/air frying)
- Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each ravioli in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Freeze for 30 minutes (optional but recommended for crispiness).
- For frying: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry for 3–4 minutes until golden.
- For baking: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C), spray ravioli with cooking spray, and bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
- For air frying: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve hot with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Freezing helps the coating stick better and prevents sogginess.
- Double-coating with breadcrumbs makes them extra crispy.
- Use panko breadcrumbs for a crunchier texture.
