Ingredients
– 1 cup diced pineapple
– 1 cup diced mango
– 1 cup diced kiwi
– 1 cup coconut milk (or yogurt for creaminess)
– 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, based on sweetness preference)
– 1 tablespoon lime juice
– Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Creating your Tropical Fruit Smoothie Popsicles can be straightforward if you follow these easy steps:
1. Prepare the Fruit: Dice the pineapple, mango, and kiwi into small pieces. Make sure they are ripe for the best flavor.
2. Blend the Mixture: In a blender, combine the diced pineapple, mango, and kiwi with coconut milk, honey (if using), and lime juice. Blend until smooth. For a chunkier texture, you can blend less.
3. Taste Test: Before pouring, give the mixture a quick taste. Adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or syrup.
4. Pour into Molds: Carefully pour the smoothie mixture into your popsicle molds, leaving a little room at the top for expansion when freezing.
5. Insert Sticks: If your popsicle molds don’t come with built-in sticks, insert wooden sticks once the mixture has slightly solidified after about an hour in the freezer.
6. Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer. Allow them to freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely solid.
7. Remove from Molds: To remove the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to help them release easily.
8. Serve & Enjoy: If desired, garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.
